By late September if feels like every mom, couple, and family are scrambling to find a great photographer.

Whether you're offering family portraits, engagement photos, wedding packages, or even pet photos, this is the perfect time for themed, "limited-edition" photos. If you've never done mini sessions before, and you're not fully booked yet, take this as your sign to give them a shot this year.

November through December

From November through mid-December themed, holiday sessions are in full swing. Families and couples want new, and updated photos for family gifts and Christmas / holiday cards. Families with small children will prefer to have indoor, studio sessions, while adults may not care one way or another if it is freezing cold outside! Nearly every portrait photographer in your area will most likely be offering sessions too. Think of new, different, exciting ways to gain more customers. What about offering pet photos with Santa? Or even small children with Santa? You could create packages that will include a custom ornament or even Christmas cards. ...anyways,

Here's some other things to consider when making your plans...

  1. What's your schedule like right now? Can you book x-amount of clients weekly? Or would it make more sense to batch a few mini session dates and go from there?

  2. What's already selling or gaining attention from your content? If people are already liking your fall photos or asking about editing technique or presets, then lean into that.

  3. What can you offer that is high-value but simple for you to deliver?

Focus on these 3 Fast & Profitable Photography Offers

If you're trying to hit $10k by the end of the year, the last thing you need is a scattered list of 25 different things to try. What you do need is a list of high-demand, high-return offers that people are already looking for, especially for this time of year.

  1. Fall Mini Sessions

Fall mini sessions are always in demand. They're short, easy to bath and perfect for families, couples, etc. You can run them over a couple of weekends, and offer them during golden hour for 15-20 minute time slots. You could realistically run 10-15 mini sessions in one weekends and walk away with $2,000+.

  1. Holiday Portraits & Christmas Card Sessions

From early November through mid-December, families and couples will be looking for updated holiday photos. Some want them for printed gifts, cards, or social media reasons... either way, they want them and they want them fast. Even local businesses will be interested in updating their product photos and/or employee photos for Christmas cards and promotional pamplets.

  1. Digital Products

If you've already created presets or have a resell bundle with resources, now is the time to promote them. People especially want presets that have everything to do with fall, autumn, and the holidays. This method works best if you've already have photographers following your content who also want to succeed during the last few months of the year. Reselling presents, templates, and resources can be a great way to really gain profits with little effort, especially if you're not able to offer portrait sessions at this time.

We offer individual preset packs too!
